Lamaze Classes I offer Lamaze classes, or more accurately, childbirth education classes in small groups or as private classes in your home. 
Lamaze is a "brand name" of childbirth education. Much like the word "kleenex" has come to mean any brand of facial tissue, "Lamaze" has become the most common term for a childbirth education class. Most instructors certified by the Lamaze International organization are hired by and teach in hospitals. Though not all hospital instructors are trained by Lamaze International. I am an independent childbirth educator trained by ALACE, which is, The Association of Labor Assistants And Childbirth Educators. I chose to train through this organization because they respect the innate knowledge & abilities of women and because they value choices in childbirth.
