Breastfeeding Class- A fun, interactive, one meeting class that will cover everything you need to know to get off to a good start! Including; Why breastfeed?, benefits to mom, dad, baby and society, how milk is made and transferred to the baby, Is baby getting enough?, normal newborn behavior and how it affects feeding, how to avoid common discomforts and prevent problems, attaining a good latch, practical tips for nursing in public, pumping, going back to work or school, the truth about breastfeeding accessories and supplies. 1-4pm Sundays Current Class Calendar
Breastfeeding Counseling- For moms who desire more personalized help. I will come to your home or hospital to show you how to get baby into a good position and latch and solve small problems before they become big. I can fill in some education if you never made it to a breastfeeding class. Within my scope, I can assist you with the use of supplement systems or nipple shields as reccommended by your IBCLC.
